Behind the Scenes Volunteering: MEMBERS ONLY

If you’ve joined us for a tree planting day before, you’ll know the amount of preparation that goes into making sure everything is set up for the day to run smoothly. That’s because for every tree planting day, there’s a site prep day! Now, you’re invited to join us for our site prep, ensuring stakes are set out, and old tree guards from previous projects have been collected.
This is an exciting way for our members to spend more time outside with us – getting to know our 2023 project sites well. Our site prep days are much smaller in size and we have a lot of fun, it’s a social and refreshing way to spend time in nature.
WHAT TO EXPECT
At 9:00am a KCF staff member will meet you at the entry to the tree planting site. From there we’ll head to the project location and get to work. BYO food and water for the day. We will provide all necessary equipment for the day’s work.
Spots are very limited for this program, so if you’re keen to come along on a particular day, please book in ASAP.

MEMBERS: Please check your inbox for an email with the subject “MEMBERS UPDATE: How to get involved this winter”. This email contains a private booking link for this program
NON-MEMBERS: If you’re keen to get involved, sign up as a member today! We will contact you with a link to book into this program.
IMPORTANT MEETING POINT INFORMATION
Please be aware that the meeting point for each event is dependent on which site we are working on that day, which varies with our planting progress through the season. We will send you an SMS the week of your event with confirmation of where to meet. Please provide your number in the order form when purchasing tickets. The meeting point on the event site is just a default, so please don’t trust it or make plans that rely on that. Contact us at any time for more clarity.
